Security Lead

About the role

Responsibilities

• Lead classified-information handling processes and ensure legal compliance.
• Oversee personnel, physical, administrative, and electronic security measures for classified information.
• Conduct annual compliance checks and submit required annual reports to authorities.
• Manage TÜK agents handling and responding to classified-information requests.
• Act as designated contact for relevant state bodies and agencies.
• Lead bereavement agents and support inheritance-related processes.
• Manage employee productivity, quality, and adherence to SLA expectations.
• Oversee physical and digital documents, including incoming communications that are not automatically categorized.
• Manage the local physical office environment with Facilities support.

What you'll need

• Fluency in English at C1 level and fluency in Hungarian.
• A university or college degree.
• At least 1 year of classified-information management experience in Hungary and familiarity with local regulations and NBF processes.
• At least 1 year of experience managing a team of agents.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines; sound judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Completion of the TÜK exam.
• A personal security certificate (PSC) in Hungary or prior national security vetting.
• Experience working with national security authorities, including NBF.
• Experience establishing classified-information handling processes at a new organization in Hungary.
