Responsibilities
- Help ensure premises safety; monitor the workshop entrance and vehicle and people movement.
- Check the booking list and admit vehicles booked for the day; allow breakdown and emergency repair vehicles as needed.
- Monitor outgoing vehicles, verify gate passes, and physically check vehicles before they leave; queue incoming vehicles.
- Direct drivers to the waiting room and restrict access to the workshop floor.
- Verify incoming and outgoing goods and documentation, including scrap disposal to waste management companies and outside suppliers.
- Conduct hourly rounds, watch for abnormalities, and report updates or suspicious activity to the supervisor or manager.
- After closing, ensure utilities are switched off and doors, windows, and gates are locked.
- Contact relevant authorities for fires or accidents and inform police if a crime occurs.
- Maintain vehicle movement records and conduct staff spot checks.
- Provide first aid, support emergency evacuation, and report safety-protocol non-compliance.
- Monitor activities through CCTV and follow management instructions.
Requirements
- Three years of security experience required.
- English required.
- Work location is Al Quoz; work is in person.
Pay and employment
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Pay is AED 2,000–2,200 per month.
