Security architecture responsibilities
- Architect and oversee firewall and threat-protection deployments using FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, F5 BIG-IP ASM, HP TippingPoint IPS, FireEye APT, and BlueCoat Proxy.
- Design secure VPN solutions, ACS/ISE, DNS security, and enterprise network segmentation.
- Develop system security frameworks, apply cryptography, and implement risk-management strategies.
- Integrate Azure and GCP environments into enterprise security architecture to support compliance and resilience.
- Align security initiatives with organizational goals and balance risk reduction with operational efficiency.
- Support incident response, audits, and compliance programs through security architecture.
- Maintain security architecture blueprints, policies, and procedures.
- Guide security engineers, review designs, and ensure best practices are followed.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity architecture.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise and cloud security frameworks.
Certifications
- Certifications listed: Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, F5 ASM, Azure Security, Cisco ASA, FireEye APT, HP TippingPoint IPS, and BlueCoat Proxy.
- CCIE Security is preferred.
