Job Purpose
Lead and manage the interior design section to ensure the delivery of high-quality showroom designs aligned with the company’s visual identity, business goals, project timelines, and operational standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the design team and distribute workloads across projects.
- Manage showroom design projects from concept stage until final handover.
- Ensure all designs comply with the company’s display identity and brand guidelines.
- Review and approve layouts, working drawings, presentations, and material selections.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of design packages.
- Ensure full product coverage based on the active products list at the start of each project.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of display standards and design manuals.
- Participate in planning showroom renovation priorities and design strategies.
- Prepare reports, project updates, and performance evaluations for the design team.
- Mentor and develop team members technically and professionally.
- Ensure proper organization and archiving project files and showroom databases.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramics Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience in interior design, preferably in retail or showroom environments.
Minimum 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D visualization tools such as V-Ray or Enscape).
Understanding of sales and marketing principles related to point-of-sale environments.
Experience working in multi-branch retail environments is preferred.
Language
Fluency in Arabic and English.
