Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and monitor detailed schedules in Primavera P6; develop baseline, look-ahead, recovery, and resource-loaded programmes.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, and subcontractor teams to gather progress information.
• Track progress against the approved schedule and identify delays, risks, critical activities, milestones, critical paths, interfaces, and resource needs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, dashboards, and S-curves; maintain planning and productivity records and schedule revisions.
• Analyze schedule impacts and delays, recommend corrective measures, and support extension-of-time claims and revised programmes.
• Attend progress reviews, follow up on actions, assist with manpower, equipment, and material forecasts, and meet project and RTA reporting requirements.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of project planning and scheduling experience in roads, highways, infrastructure, or civil/EPC projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, progress updates, and recovery plans.
• Understanding of construction sequences, critical-path analysis, resource planning, and progress measurement.
• Good analytical, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.

Preferred experience and skills

• UAE/GCC experience, especially on RTA roads or Dubai infrastructure projects, is an advantage.
• Highways, interchanges, bridges, utility diversions, drainage, traffic diversions, and major Dubai/UAE infrastructure project experience is preferred.
• Key skill areas include progress monitoring, resource and manpower planning, S-curves, dashboards, delay analysis, and extension-of-time support.
