Role Overview
Oversee scaffold erection and dismantling operations on construction sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervision: Lead and manage scaffolding crews, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop scaffolding plans that meet site requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions, ensuring all personnel are aware of safety standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor the integrity and stability of scaffolding structures, addressing any issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of scaffold inspections, site conditions, and personnel training.
- Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in scaffolding or construction supervision.
- Knowledge of scaffolding regulations and safety practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., scaffolding certification, OSHA).
