SAP FICO Consultant – S/4HANA Public Cloud

About This Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and SAP Project Systems (PS) to join a long-term Application Management Services (AMS) engagement. The role involves functional ownership of Finance and Project Systems, supporting business users, delivering enhancements, and ensuring stable operations in a Public Cloud environment.

This is a client-facing role requiring deep functional knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders on continuous improvements and small-to-medium initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and ownership for SAP FICO and Project Systems (PS) modules in an S/4HANA Public Cloud environment.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and problem resolution in line with defined SLAs.
• Lead and support PS-related processes, including WBS structures, project cost tracking, budgeting support, and settlement integration with FI/CO.
• Deliver system enhancements, configuration changes, and minor projects following Fit‑to‑Standard principles.
• Support system upgrades and releases, including impact analysis, testing, and post-upgrade validation.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and user guides.
• Act as a key point of contact between business users, internal IT teams, and technical support teams.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of SAP FICO functional consulting experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (Public Edition).
• Strong functional exposure to SAP Project Systems (PS), including:
• WBS structures
• Project cost tracking
• Budget monitoring
• Settlement concepts and FI/CO integration
• Experience working in AMS / Support environments (Incident management, enhancements, SLAs).
• Solid configuration experience in:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Controlling (CO)
• Good understanding of SAP Activate and Fit‑to‑Standard methodology.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Professional Services or project-based industries.
• Exposure to Public Cloud limitations and extensibility concepts.
• SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance or Public Cloud.
• Prior experience supporting multi-country or regional SAP landscapes.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or equivalent.
• SAP Certification (S/4HANA Finance / Public Cloud) is a strong advantage.

Pay: Up to AED20,000.00 per month
