Senior Salesforce Developer role requiring 8–10 years of professional Salesforce development experience.
The role leads a small team and delivers Salesforce features for client cloud-transformation work, with a focus on Sales Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Lead 3–4 developers, review code, ensure timely deliverables, and own delivery of assigned team features.
- Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and API programming.
- Build UI pages aligned with Caterpillar UX standards using LWC or similar frameworks.
- Integrate third-party applications and legacy systems with Salesforce using web APIs and middleware.
- Deploy Salesforce changes using GitHub and DevOps processes.
- Conduct code reviews, proofs of concept, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and SIT Testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 8–10 years of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Experience delivering client cloud-transformation projects focused on Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio or Salesforce B2B Commerce.
- Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce pages, and API programming.
- UI/UX skills and ability to develop pages aligned with Caterpillar UX standards.
- Experience with third-party integrations, legacy-system integration patterns, and Salesforce deployment using GitHub.
- Experience with Agile methodology or SDLC practices and delivery in public-cloud or hybrid ecosystems.
Preferred skills and certifications
- Salesforce certification(s) are preferred; Architect and Platform Developer 2 certifications are added advantages.
- AWS, Heroku, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience is an added advantage.
