The Java Backend Developer will develop scalable web applications and REST APIs.
The role calls for around 2.5 years of experience and hands-on backend implementation experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Work with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Spring Security and JWT.
- Develop business workflows, transaction management, and backend automation.
- Participate in requirements analysis, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams.
Required qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience developing backend applications.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8/17 and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and REST API development.
- Knowledge of SQL, MySQL or PostgreSQL, Spring Security, JWT, and role-based access control.
- Knowledge of Maven, Apache Tomcat, Postman, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Nice to have
- Exposure to React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Interest in Python, FastAPI, and workflow automation.
