Position:** Sales Manager – FMCG

**Experience:** 5–8 Years (Minimum 3 years in a managerial role)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and grow our FMCG sales operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales teams and distributor networks, expanding market share, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver strong performance.
  • Manage distributor relationships and ensure effective market coverage.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base across assigned territories.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare sales forecasts.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, merchandising, and promotional execution across retail channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Conduct regular market visits to evaluate sales activities and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market developments, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, performance reviews, and business presentations.
  • Ensure timely collections, credit control, and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of FMCG sales experience, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG distribution, retail operations, and sales planning.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales reporting systems.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently.

  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Experience managing distributor networks and key accounts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
