Sales Executive – Food Distribution (Retail)
About This Role
We are looking for a Sales Executive with experience in food distribution and retail sales to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and manage retail customer relationships. The role focuses on FMCG / food products distribution, ensuring product availability, visibility, and strong sales performance across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Market Expansion
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for food products
- Develop new retail channels including supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, and HORECA clients
- Expand distribution network and increase market coverage
- Identify new business opportunities in assigned territory
2. Retail Execution & Distribution
- Ensure product availability across all assigned outlets
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
- Ensure proper shelf placement, merchandising, and visibility
- Implement promotions, schemes, and product launches effectively
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, store managers, and key accounts
- Conduct regular market visits and maintain client engagement
- Resolve customer issues, returns, and complaints efficiently
4. Order Management & Collections
- Take and process orders accurately
- Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for timely deliveries
- Follow up on payments and ensure timely collections
- Maintain records of invoices, credit limits, and outstanding balances
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor pricing, promotions, and product movement
- Provide regular updates on market trends and customer feedback
- Submit daily/weekly sales reports and performance updates
Key Requirements:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in food distribution / FMCG sales
- Strong experience in handling retail outlets and distributors
- Experience in UAE/GCC market is an added advantage
