Sales Executive - Exhibitions and Conferences
About This Role
We are seeking a creative, passionate, and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our events. The ideal candidate has 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, thrives on identifying and developing new business opportunities across the exhibition and conference sectors, and is comfortable engaging with decision-makers across diverse sectors.
Objectives:
- Sell exhibition booths and sponsorship packages for assigned shows on a daily basis.
- Support the sales strategy as directed by the Sales Manager or senior leadership.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while upholding the company’s sales performance standards.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the event and overall team success.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
- Identify new business leads and generate sales through cold calls, emails, in-person meetings, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
- Prepare customized sales proposals and follow up to secure confirmations.
- Respond to incoming inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
- Attend industry exhibitions and competitor events to network and identify sales opportunities.
- Keep informed of industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Support the implementation of sales campaigns and targeted outreach activities.
- Accurately handle client objections and negotiate terms to close deals.
- Maintain excellent customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity, pipelines, and performance using the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for the Sales Manager.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of contracts, proposals, and administrative documentation.
Team & Personal Development:
- Participate in internal training sessions to enhance skills and performance.
- Collaborate with team members and share insights on best practices and new business opportunities.
- Contribute to team meetings and strategy discussions as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales role within the B2B exhibitions or conference industry
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals, particularly in the events or exhibitions sector
- Strong communication skills with a professional approach to engaging high-level executives
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
