Role Overview
La Vida Casa is seeking a Sales & Estimation Engineer for interior design, fit-out, and contracting projects in Riyadh.
The role manages opportunities from initial client contact and site visits through proposals, negotiation, and the contracting stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit clients and project sites, take measurements, and collect technical information.
- Understand client requirements, budgets, and project scope.
- Prepare mood boards, concept presentations, quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing.
- Review drawings and specifications and obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
- Follow up with clients, handle negotiations, and coordinate with design and execution teams.
- Maintain knowledge of fit-out materials, suppliers, subcontractors, and Saudi market prices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in interior fit-out, estimation, or contracting.
- Good knowledge of local suppliers, subcontractors, materials, and fit-out pricing.
- Strong quantity take-off, costing, estimation, communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage opportunities independently from initial inquiry through the pre-contract stage.
- Experience in the Saudi market is highly preferred.
- Candidates currently based in Riyadh are preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare mood boards and initial presentations.
