Sales Engineer

Role scope

Presales and architecture

• Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and presentations for application delivery, secure remote access, and security solutions.
• Scope and execute technical deep-dives, demonstrations, and hands-on proofs of concept to validate product capabilities and support customer decisions.
• Assess legacy platforms such as F5 BIG-IP and A10 Networks and design migrations to NetScaler architectures.
• Build relationships with network, security, and VDI administrators, CIOs, and CISOs.
• Author technical RFP and RFI responses and detailed Statements of Work.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in technical presales, systems engineering, or solution architecture focused on enterprise networking, application delivery, and security.
• A proven record of managing and closing complex technical sales cycles involving NetScaler or equivalent enterprise ADC solutions.

Technical qualifications

• Hands-on NetScaler ADC experience (MPX, SDX, VPX) or equivalent platforms such as F5 BIG-IP, VMware Avi, or A10 Networks.
• Knowledge of L4-L7 load balancing, GSLB, content switching, policy engines, and traffic management.
• Expertise in ADC security, WAF, bot management, API security, DDoS mitigation, and secure remote access or identity solutions.
• Experience with centralized management, automation, and analytics platforms such as NetScaler Console/ADM, F5 BIG-IQ, or similar.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, IPAM, and hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred qualifications

• NetScaler or F5 certifications, or equivalent high-level networking/security certifications such as CCIE or CCNP, are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Citrix, Horizon, microservices architectures, or Kubernetes ingress controllers is a major plus.
