Sales Engineer role focused on HVAC products, brand growth, existing accounts, and new business generation.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of proven sales experience as a Sales Officer or Sales Engineer with a reputable firm.
- Applicants must have HVAC, fan selection/ventilation, sales collection, and generator load calculation experience.
- Qatar driving license required.
Skills and capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication, mathematical, and accounting skills.
- Ability to analyze sales and competition, use financial/sales recording systems, and interpret business performance data.
- Hands-on experience with financial data and implementing business strategies.
- Attention to detail and complex problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities
- Grow the brand and existing client base and generate new business.
- Research customer needs, recommend suitable solutions, and coordinate between customers and internal teams.
- Track sales metrics, targets, key-account progress, account-level P&L, and receivables; report findings to managers.
- Resolve customer complaints and visit accounts in offices, showrooms, and jobsites daily.
- Deliver product shows and demonstrations, develop new accounts, and hold regular sales meetings with key accounts.
- Analyze markets and competitors, monitor trends and product launches, and participate in sales meetings and trade shows.
- Prepare business reports, support budget requirements, and follow company processes, policies, and departmental SOPs.
- Build product knowledge through upskilling and complete other assigned tasks or projects.
