Sales Support
- Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and tenders.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and sales leads.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
- Coordinate meetings and appointments for sales executives.
Quotation & Order Processing
- Prepare and issue quotations for wood products, timber, plywood, MDF, veneer, joinery items, or custom wood solutions.
- Process customer orders accurately and ensure all specifications are documented.
- Generate sales orders and coordinate with production and procurement departments.
- Monitor order status from confirmation to delivery.
Customer Service
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders and product availability.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints.
- Provide updates on delivery schedules and order progress.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Coordination with Production & Operations
- Liaise with factory, workshop, and production teams regarding order requirements.
- Ensure customer specifications, dimensions, finishes, and delivery timelines are communicated correctly.
- Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of quotations, sales orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales performance and customer order history.
- Ensure all sales documentation is accurate and properly filed.
Inventory & Stock Coordination
- Check stock availability before confirming orders.
- Coordinate with the storekeeper and procurement team regarding inventory levels.
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving stock items.
Accounts & Payment Follow-up
- Coordinate with the accounts department regarding invoices and customer payments.
- Follow up on outstanding payments when required.
- Assist in preparing customer account statements.
UAE Market-Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinate with contractors, interior fit-out companies, furniture manufacturers, and construction clients.
- Support sales activities related to timber, plywood, MDF, laminate, veneer, joinery products, and customized wood solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer contractual requirements.
Key Skills Required
- Knowledge of sales administration and customer service.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Focus, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple orders and deadlines.
- Understanding of wood products, joinery, and construction materials is an advantage.
- Must have experience in any wood company in uae
