Part-time Sales Assistant role, known internally at Topps Tiles as a Service Specialist.
The position involves helping customers choose products for tile and home improvement projects.
Schedule
- The role is 10 hours per week and includes some weekend working.
- The role does not involve late evening work, and colleagues receive Christmas Eve and Boxing Day off.
Pay
- Employees aged 21 and above receive £12.71 per hour plus personal sales commission.
- Employees aged 20 and below receive £10.85 per hour plus personal sales commission.
What you’ll be doing
- Build long-standing relationships with regular trade and retail customers through a consultative sales approach.
- Ask questions to understand customer needs and confidently recommend suitable products.
- Use creativity to inspire customers with colour, style, layout, and design ideas.
- Drive sales through expert product knowledge.
- Close sales confidently and maximise every opportunity.

- The role requires lifting heavy boxes due to the nature of store work.
- Previous tile or retail experience is not required, as training is provided.
