Overview

Our client, an oilfield equipment supplier is looking for a Sales Manager (Downhole Tools & Oilfield Services) to be based in Abu Dhabi.

You will support sales growth and business expansion in the Middle East oil & gas sector, particularly with ADNOC, ARAMCO,PDO,KOC approved service providers in the region.

This role is ideal for candidates with early to mid-level experience who are eager to develop client relationships and grow within the oilfield services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business development and sales activities for downhole tools and oilfield services across ME markets.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities with entities, service companies, and drilling contractors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, RFQs, and tender submissions in line with client requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Follow up on leads, quotations, and client inquiries to convert opportunities into sales.
  • Maintain and update ERP systems, sales reports, and forecasts.
  • Stay updated on vendor registration processes, prequalification requirements, and procurement procedures.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and industry events when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Petroleum preferred) or Business Administration.
  • 4-5 years of experience in sales or business development within oilfield services or industrial products.
  • Basic understanding of downhole tools, drilling, or completion operations is an advantage
  • Familiarity with ADNOC vendor systems, tendering, and procurement processes is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
