Safety & Security Coordinator

Role overview

Operational safety and security

• Coordinate safety and security activities across UAE boutiques, offices, and other locations.
• Conduct site visits, follow up on risks, and track corrective actions.
• Support incident response and investigations, including documentation, evidence gathering, and reporting.
• Support procedures and standards and coordinate arrangements for new locations, renovations, events, and projects.

Compliance and risk management

• Monitor compliance with UAE safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain inspection records, Civil Defense certifications, Occupational Health Cards, and related documentation.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and follow up on findings and corrective actions.

Training, vendors, and procurement

• Coordinate training, awareness activities, communications, guidelines, and campaigns.
• Coordinate service providers and support service documentation, reports, and performance indicators.
• Assist with procurement, quotations, purchase orders, and related administration.

Candidate requirements

• University degree in Security Studies, Risk Management, Criminology, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate security, safety, risk management, luxury retail, or a related operational environment.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, or operational activities.
• Working knowledge of UAE safety and security regulations is preferred.

Skills and attributes

• Strong interest and practical understanding of safety, security, and risk management; integrity, discretion, organization, and analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and escalate issues when needed.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic or French is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
