Industry: Paper Mill Manufacturing
Location: UAE (JAFZA experience preferred)
We are a well-established paper mill manufacturing company located in JAFZA, Dubai, UAE, looking to hire a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across the manufacturing facility
- Ensure full compliance with UAE safety regulations, JAFZA requirements, and international HSE standards
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and toolbox talks
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
- Provide safety training and awareness to employees and contractors
- Maintain all HSE documentation, permits, and records
- Coordinate with management and external authorities on safety matters
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the UAE as a Safety Officer
- JAFZA experience is a strong advantage
- Experience in manufacturing / industrial / paper mill environment preferred
- Relevant degree or diploma in Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Valid safety certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws and regulations
- Good communication and reporting skills
