Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Officer to join our road contracting team.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health & safety procedures at project sites to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce site safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments at project sites
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers and staff
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors regarding safety compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in road contracting projects
- Diploma or Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred
- Knowledge of UAE safety standards and regulations
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage site safety effectively
- Salary: To be discussed during the interview
- Pay: From AED1.00 per hour
