Safety Officer
About This Role
IMEP Engineering and Contracting LLC is urgently hiring a Safety Officer who can join immediately. We are open to both experienced candidates and junior applicants who are passionate about building a career in health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits
- Monitor daily site activities and enforce safe work practices
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, records and documentation
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks
- Promote a strong safety culture on-site
Requirements:
- NEBOSH (IGC) or equivalent HSE certification preferred
- Knowledge of UAE safety regulations (e.g., ADNOC / OSHAD guidelines is a plus)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of risk assessment and incident reporting
- Freshers / junior candidates are welcome to apply
- Must be available to join immediately
Preferred Qualifications (Advantage):
- Previous UAE or GCC experience
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field
