Job Role
The Rope Access Equipment Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, timely, and efficient control of records, certification, inspection status, and document administration relating to rope access equipment, lifting equipment, anemometers, and associated gear. The role also supports internal operational requirements, third-party inspection coordination, and IRATA-related administrative correspondence and statistical reporting.
Purpose
To ensure that all rope access and lifting equipment records and related documentation are properly controlled, maintained, traceable, accessible, and auditable in accordance with company requirements, IRATA requirements, applicable legislation, and accreditation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records for rope access equipment, lifting equipment, anemometers, and associated gear in the applicable register or system, including Papertrail.
- Maintain and update equipment certification, inspection records, and traceability data.
- Ensure correct and timely input of data into the equipment management system.
- Control the storage and filing of all equipment-related documentation, including hard copy and electronic records.
- Process and issue certificates, inspection records, and equipment-related documentation for gear kits, rescue kits, ropes, and common equipment, as applicable.
- Monitor inspection status and ensure key equipment data can be retrieved promptly upon request.
- Ensure all equipment documentation is complete, current, and auditable in line with IRATA requirements, legislative requirements, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with the warehouse regarding equipment stock checks, stock counts, and record reconciliation. Coordinate with worksites and supervisors to ensure that equipment deployed on site is compliant and supported by valid records.
- Provide document control and equipment record support to projects as required.
- Administer documentation related to EIAC-accredited third-party inspection and certification.
- Assist with the collection, compilation, and submission of rope access work and safety statistics, including quarterly IRATA statistical data where required.
- Support correspondence related to IRATA matters as directed.
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations & HSE Department in relation to equipment and compliance records.
Competencies / Requirements
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Competent in handling document control systems and electronic registers.
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
