The Road Engineer role supports construction project delivery and road and pavement works in Roha, Raigad.
What You Will Do
- Review EPC contractor designs and drawings for compliance with IRC, MoRTH, and contract requirements.
- Provide design review comments and recommend approval or rejection based on technical suitability and site conditions.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Verify methodologies for earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, DLC, and PQC pavement works.
- Monitor quality, testing, and implementation of the Quality Assurance Plan.
- Identify deviations and non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Review contractor resources, progress, delays, risks, and mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment requirements.
- Review and recommend interim payments based on quantities, quality, and contract provisions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and government authorities.
Work Location
- The role is based in Roha, Raigad and includes construction site inspections.
What You Bring
- Graduate degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 15 years of progressive programme or project experience.
- At least five years of experience on large-scale construction projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental sustainability, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality and safety best practices.
