Supports a hotel's Revenue Management team by preparing revenue reports and helping the Director of Revenue implement yield strategies.
Reviews hotel and market measurement tools and presents revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports, including segmentation, production, source contribution, pickup, and preferred-guest analyses.
- Help ensure rates and inventory are maintained accurately; audit PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales & Catering systems.
- Communicate strategies and procedures across departments and coordinate group pickup information and cutoffs with Sales.
- Participate in weekly revenue meetings and prepare meeting materials.
- Monitor competitors and market trends; review OTA Insights, STR, Demand 360, and other tools to identify revenue opportunities.
- Assist with short- and long-term forecasts and distribute a 14-day forecast to support staffing.
- Update market-area reports in Delphi or another Sales & Catering system under revenue-manager guidance.
- Analyze local events, conduct group audits, test reservation calls, and check the daily Flash Report.
- Provide administrative support and participate in Manager on Duty coverage as required.
Role requirements
- Be knowledgeable about hotel rates, room types, hotel products, special rates, and promotions.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with employees and guests.
- Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Evaluate complex information, handle problems effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
