The Return Receiving Officer joins the Return DC Operations team in Riyadh.
The role accurately and safely receives store returns across ambient, chilled, and frozen categories while maintaining system and documentation traceability.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and verify store returns against Gate Pass details; count, scan, and record items in the WMS/WHM system.
- Check quantities, units of measure, expiry dates, batch details, and product condition; identify and document shortages, excess quantities, damages, and other discrepancies.
- Segregate returns by category, condition, and disposition; follow food safety, hygiene, PPE, and cold-chain requirements for chilled and frozen products.
- Receive and reconcile returnable assets such as pallets and baskets; escalate discrepancies and quality or cold-chain concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper shift handovers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse receiving, returns, or warehouse operations.
- Experience handling food products; chilled and frozen product experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with WMS, WHM, or a similar warehouse management system, plus scanners and warehouse transactions.
- Good communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify and report discrepancies.
- Willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments and follow safety and hygiene procedures.
