Job Summary
The Retail Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, supervising the sales team, and ensuring excellent customer service standards.
The role focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining store presentation, and supporting overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate the sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and guidance when needed
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally
- Support the Store Manager in daily store operations and reporting
- Maintain proper visual merchandising and store appearance according to brand standards
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
- Assist in staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and leave coordination
- Train and onboard new employees on company policies and sales procedures
- Promote upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize store revenue
- Ensure proper handling of cash, POS transactions, and store documentation
Requirements
- Proven UAE retail experience, preferably in watches, eyewear, accessories, perfumes, or luxury retail
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in retail
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Customer-focused with strong sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is an advantage
- Multilingual skills are preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: AED 4,000 – AED 4,500 (depending on experience)
- Attractive commission and incentives based on performance
