Serve food and beverages in the assigned outlet with courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service.
Follow hotel service standards and encourage sales while maximizing guest satisfaction.
Service and outlet duties
- Learn hotel services and products and maintain thorough knowledge of assigned food and beverage items.
- Explain offerings, upsell items, and suggest alternatives.
- Monitor supplies and equipment and reduce spoilage and waste.
- Keep the workplace and surrounding area clean and organized; perform opening and closing procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries and report complaints and feedback promptly, ensuring follow-up.
- Operate the assigned point-of-sale system and assist with scheduled inventories.
- Follow hotel policies, including fire, hygiene, health, and safety rules.
Job requirements
- Experience in a food-and-beverage service role.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills; an additional language is an advantage.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients or vendors.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; maintain a professional, confidential, and ethical approach.
- Ability to identify and delegate tasks effectively.
