The Front Desk Agent checks hotel guests in and out according to Kempinski procedures and standards.
The role is part of Rooms Division, Front Office & Guest Services, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
- Register arriving guests, assign rooms, assist with registration cards, and accommodate special requests where possible.
- Promote rooms and hotel services using suggestive selling; verify payment methods and follow credit-checking procedures.
- Process guest check-outs, inquire about final charges, receive payment, settle accounts, and provide invoices.
- Post guest charges, exchange foreign currency, handle cashier transactions, and balance the cash float at shift end.
- Handle guest requests and questions in person or by telephone, take appropriate action, or refer matters to relevant staff.
- Coordinate room-status updates with housekeeping, including early check-ins, late check-outs, and special requests.
- Stay informed about hotel products, services, daily activities, and meetings; maintain working knowledge of room reservations.
- Keep the working area neat.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent English and Russian communication skills.
- Experience in an international luxury five-star hotel is preferred.
