Role overview
Oversee the efficient and profitable operation of a restaurant, including staff, budget, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Train and supervise team members, set performance expectations, provide feedback, conduct evaluations, and manage staff shifts.
- Interact with guests, ensure excellent service, and resolve complaints and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Prepare and manage the budget; monitor expenses and revenue; implement cost controls; manage inventory, supply orders, and food and beverage costs.
- Supervise daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation, and enforce health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
- Proven restaurant management experience; QSR experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Working conditions
- May work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on restaurant hours.
- May stand for extended periods and occasionally lift heavy items.
