Restaurant Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage and participate in daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations.
• Lead, train, and motivate service and kitchen teams.
• Monitor sales, food cost, and labor cost to support profitability.
• Maintain food quality, hygiene, and guest-service standards; resolve customer feedback and issues.
• Coordinate restaurant maintenance and repairs, including external contractors when needed.
• Communicate with mall management and obtain operational permissions.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
• Prepare performance reports, attend management meetings, and travel when required for training, audits, or operational support.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills; able to work hands-on in busy operations.
• Fluent in English.
• In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality hygiene standards, HACCP, and FoodWatch systems.
• Solid understanding of sales, food cost, and labor cost indicators.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and has no travel restrictions.
• UAE experience is preferred.
