Research Specialist - UAE Nationals

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on topics related to interfaith dialogue, coexistence, and global issues aligned with the organization's research priorities.
• Support the development of research outputs including reports, policy briefs, white papers, and thought leadership publications.
• Assist in gathering, reviewing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and quality of research deliverables.
• Contribute to the implementation of research methodologies, frameworks, and analytical tools in line with academic and institutional standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, fellows, and subject matter experts, to support research activities.
• Support the preparation of research materials, presentations, and briefing notes for internal use and external dissemination.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and academic review standards across all research outputs.
• Translate research findings into practical insights that support program development, advocacy efforts, and informed decision-making.
• Monitor trends, emerging topics, and global developments relevant to the organization's research agenda.
• Support the organization and maintenance of research activities, databases, and knowledge repositories.

• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and guidelines to ensure work is carried out consistently and effectively.
• Demonstrate the organization's values and ethical standards at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance systems, processes, productivity, and sustainability.
• Support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives and comply with all applicable occupational health and safety policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Report incidents, near misses, occupational illnesses, unsafe practices, and unsafe conditions promptly, and participate in investigations where required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Religious Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• **3–5 years**
• of relevant experience in research, analysis, or policy development.
• Experience in academic, think tank, or research-focused environments is preferred.

• Effective stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
