Key responsibilities
- Identify commercialization opportunities from research, innovation, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and commercial feasibility assessments.
- Evaluate intellectual property and potential business applications.
- Support technology transfer, licensing, and commercialization initiatives.
- Develop business cases, commercialization plans, and market entry strategies.
- Build relationships with researchers, industry partners, investors, and potential licensees.
- Coordinate partnership discussions and commercial negotiations.
- Assess demand, revenue potential, and commercialization risks.
- Collaborate with R&D, Legal, Finance, and Business Development teams.
- Monitor milestones and report to management.
Requirements
- Experience in research commercialization, technology transfer, innovation management, or business development.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of market research, business models, and commercialization strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to translate technical research into practical business opportunities.
- Familiarity with intellectual property, licensing, or technology valuation is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with research institutions, startups, or industry partners is advantageous.
