Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our furniture-focused warehouse.

This hands-on leadership position requires deep industry-specific experience in furniture warehousing, with a strong emphasis on inventory accuracy, team management, and operational execution.

The supervisor will oversee all daily warehouse functions—from receiving and storage to picking, dispatch, and stock audits—while maintaining close coordination with the showroom team for customer and display item transfers.

This role is essential to maintaining high service standards, minimizing losses, and supporting seamless order fulfillment across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, and dispatch
  • Manage warehouse staff by assigning tasks, planning manpower, and providing on-floor leadership
  • Ensure accurate receipt and recording of stock, with attention to detail and compliance
  • Coordinate with the showroom team for customer furniture handling, display setups, and item transfers
  • Implement proper furniture handling, storage, packing, and protection procedures to prevent damage
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Identify, document, and report damages, shortages, and discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in line with safety standards
  • Follow established SOPs and support accurate ERP system entries (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle)
  • Assist with loading, deliveries, and operational reporting as required

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on warehouse experience in the furniture industry (mandatory)
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Senior Storekeeper in a similar environment
  • Expertise in furniture handling, stacking, packaging, and damage prevention
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
  • Forklift certification and experience is a plus
  • Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks and work on the warehouse floor
  • Highly organized, responsible, and capable of leading and motivating a team
