This role is critical in delivering authentic, high-quality South Indian cuisine across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
The ideal candidate will bring deep culinary expertise in traditional recipes, a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.
The chef will play a key role in maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and operational efficiency while contributing to the overall success of the dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic South Indian breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all meals
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
- Manage food preparation, storage, and kitchen organization efficiently
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless daily operations
- Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations at all stages of food handling
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a South Indian Chef
- Proven expertise in preparing dosa, idli, vada, appam, puttu, biryani, curries, chutneys, and other traditional South Indian dishes
- Prior experience in hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, or catering industry preferred
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Kerala candidates preferred
- NOC required
