Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics.
- Hands-on Power BI experience, including dashboards, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Practical Databricks experience with notebooks, data processing, and data transformation.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and validating data.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration.
- Python or PySpark knowledge is preferred.
- Understanding of data visualization best practices, KPI reporting, and business intelligence concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Services.
- Knowledge of Power BI Service, workspace management, and scheduled refreshes.
- Familiarity with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
- Experience with data governance, security, and access management.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain reporting and business intelligence dashboards using Power BI.
- Use DAX, Power Query, and data modeling to support reporting needs.
- Process and transform data using Databricks notebooks.
- Query, analyze, and validate data with SQL.
- Support data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data integration processes.
