Help fine-tune large language models by designing chemistry problems, evaluating model solutions, and developing benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Design advanced chemistry problems to test AI performance, including chemical engineering and biochemistry examples.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions using rigorous logic.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and reasoning quality.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to PhD-level chemistry topics.
Requirements
- PhD, completed or in progress, in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Strong chemistry reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced domains.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and provide structured feedback.
- No AI experience is required.
Work arrangement
- Fully remote work with flexible weekly hours.
Pay and assignments
- Pay is $100+ per hour, depending on role and candidate expertise.
- Assignments are contract roles with defined start and end dates and may be up to 40 hours per week.
- Shortlisted candidates complete an evaluation before selection.
