Quantitative finance professionals work with researchers to improve AI model performance using quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, algorithmic strategy development, and financial engineering.

Day-to-day work
- Evaluate LLMs on stochastic modeling, derivatives pricing, statistical arbitrage, and risk quantification.
- Create assessment rubrics for options pricing, Monte Carlo simulation, factor model construction, and backtesting.
- Collaborate with researchers and finance experts on training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of quantitative finance experience, such as quantitative trading, research, financial engineering, or risk modeling.
- Strong grasp of stochastic calculus, statistical modeling, and derivatives pricing theory.
- Programming experience in Python, R, or C++; excellent written English communication.
- CFA, FRM, CQF, quantitative-field Ph.D., or Finance MBA is optional.
Work arrangement
- Fully remote and flexible work environment.
Compensation and commitment
- Hourly compensation is approximately $100 or more, depending on experience.
- Flexible commitment of 10–30 hours per week.
- Project duration is approximately one month, with possible extension based on performance and project needs.
