Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability, preventative and predictive maintenance strategies. Analyse downtime, failures and equipment performance to identify improvement opportunities. Lead root cause investigations and defect elimination activities. Improve maintenance planning, shutdown scheduling and work execution processes. Manage reliability and maintenance master data within CMMS systems including MEX. Develop long-term asset replacement and reliability roadmaps. Support automation, operational improvement and capital project activities. Management of a small team of 2 to provide coaching and technical leadership. Who are we looking for? Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 5+ years' experience in reliability engineering, maintenance or asset management within FMCG, pharmaceutical, food, chemical or other regulated manufacturing environments. Exposure to automated filling, packaging or high-speed production lines. Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance, reliability engineering and asset management principles. Experience with root cause analysis, failure mode analysis and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience using CMMS platforms such as MEX, SAP or similar maintenance systems. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence operators, tradespeople and leaders alike. Previous people leadership experience would be great, however is not essential Someone who takes initiative, enjoys coaching others and is confident bringing new ideas forward.
