The Company

Our client is a leading financial services firm in Dubai and one of the most trusted wealth management firms in the market. They provide a full range of financial services including asset management, credit, advice on financial products, custody arrangements and investment deals. They pride themselves in building positive client experiences for their clients and institutions to whom they serve across the Middle East and Africa.

Job purpose

The main responsibility of this role will be to contribute to the Company’s commercial expansion. Our client is seeking Relationship Managers who have an existing book of clients and with proven experience in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Bring your own portfolio of clients, with a demonstrable history of relationships.
• Identify potential prospects and develop them to become clients of the firm.
• Advise his/her customers with regards to the management of their portfolios and execute their instructions.
• Responsible for identifying new products required in the market, in line with the DFSA license criteria.
• Constantly explore Investment opportunities with the client per his / her risk appetite.
• Actively introduce clients and prospects to Senior team members and seek guidance and support in terms of relationship management and products to develop them.
• Increase the clients’ share of wallet and contribute to the diversification.
• Good understanding of the regulatory framework, legislation, and best market practices.

Skills and Experience

• Our client seeks an entrepreneurial candidate who can manage their own book to generate net new money and revenues for the firm, while identifying new prospects and developing them to become clients.
• Strong experience in international private banking is a must.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and international financial markets.
• Candidate must be able to make positive contributions to the team.
• Fluent English, other languages a plus.
• Impeccable work ethic, self-starter with an international mindset.

Experience (essential to any successful application)

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior relationship management role.
• Must have experience in the Middle-East, Asia and Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / master’s degree in business
