Supports senior Relationship Management team members serving current clients and marketing to target companies in technology, media and healthcare.
The Corporate Client Group provides corporate finance solutions to private mid-market and small-cap public Canadian corporations.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to idea generation through financial statement, industry and market research and analysis, and prepare client presentations.
- Research current and target clients and prepare materials for relationship development activities.
- Prepare or manage documentation on new client and revenue opportunities for internal decision-making committees.
- Coordinate with internal partners to support the client portfolio.
- Prepare internal sales materials or analyze quarterly and annual group operating performance data for strategic decisions.
- Assist with structuring, delivering, closing and monitoring syndicated and bilateral loan transactions with CCG Finance.
- Provide analysis and support for internal business cases.
Must-have qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills, including company financial statement analysis.
- Effective presentation and communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- MBA, CFA or CPA.
- Knowledge of credit and credit metrics, financial modeling, or corporate finance experience.
Work details
- Regular full-time role; stated work week is 37.5 hours.
