Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Jiddah.

The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions in accordance with established protocols and clinical standards.

Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, documenting patient progress accurately, and communicating changes in condition to the healthcare team.

The nurse will educate patients and families on treatment plans and health promotion, coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.

Additional duties include maintaining infection control practices, contributing to quality improvement activities, mentoring junior staff where appropriate, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in applicable jurisdiction and compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; advanced certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS) are preferred.
  • Proven clinical nursing skills in acute or specialty care settings, including patient assessment, care planning, and clinical decision-making.
  • Strong patient education, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, infection prevention, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and use electronic health record systems efficiently.
  • Previous experience in hospital or clinical environments is highly desirable; experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English required; Arabic language skills are an asset.
