Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Clinic Nurse Assistant role based in Jiddah.

The Clinic Nurse Assistant supports physicians and nurses in providing safe, efficient, and patient-centered care during daily clinic operations.

Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, taking and recording vital signs, assisting with basic clinical procedures, and ensuring that equipment and supplies are clean, organized, and available.

The role also involves supporting patient flow by guiding patients through check-in and check-out, helping with documentation in medical records, and reinforcing patient education and instructions as directed by licensed clinicians.

The Clinic Nurse Assistant collaborates closely with the clinical team, follows established protocols and infection control standards, and maintains a professional and respectful environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Clinical support skills, including measuring vital signs, assisting with basic procedures, and monitoring patient comfort and safety.
  • Foundational knowledge of infection prevention, clinical hygiene, and proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage patient flow, room preparation, and documentation accurately.
  • Clear and empathetic communication skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Ability to follow clinical protocols, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Certificate or diploma in nursing assistance, practical nursing, or a related healthcare field; relevant licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
  • Previous experience in a clinic or outpatient setting is preferred, especially in a busy, patient-facing environment.
  • Basic computer skills for working with electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and continuous learning in a dynamic clinical setting.
