Job Summary
The Salon Receptionist greets clients, schedules appointments, handles phone calls, processes payments, and supports the salon team with administrative tasks while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients when they arrive and make them feel welcome
- Answer phone calls and messages and respond to customer inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for stylists or therapists
- Check clients in and out of appointments
- Process payments (cash, card, or digital payments)
- Maintain client records and update contact details
- Keep the reception and waiting area clean and organized
- Promote salon services and products to clients
- Handle cancellations and rescheduling
- Coordinate with stylists and technicians about appointment schedules
Required Skills

- Basic computer and booking system knowledge
- Organization and multitasking ability
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to handle busy environments
