Role overview

Support Synopsys SLM PVT Monitor IP customers worldwide as a customer-facing technical interface to the IP R&D organization.

Provide guidance on IP integration, silicon bring-up, debugging, validation, and production sign-off.

Responsibilities

  • Enable RTL-to-silicon integration of hard macros and PVTC controllers.
  • Advise on floor planning, placement, routing, shielding, IR drop, and signal integrity.
  • Support timing closure and sign-off across IP boundaries, including STA, Liberty/SDF, and variation modeling.
  • Support DFT and production testing, including scan, ATPG, ATE strategies, and silicon validation.
  • Assist with verification, bring-up, debug, low-power validation, and firmware integration.
  • Develop practical firmware and test solutions from calibration and accuracy requirements.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, reproduce failures, perform root-cause analysis, and work with R&D on resolution.
  • Coordinate with sales, IP development, validation, and documentation teams on releases and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in SoC or semiconductor IP, with experience in several relevant areas including integration, RTL, verification, physical design, timing/Liberty, or DFT/ATPG.
  • Ability to debug simulation mismatches and distinguish model or testbench limitations from RTL defects.
  • Working knowledge of STA using .lib/.db/SDF, setup/hold arcs, scan architecture, and ATPG deliverables.
  • Ability to interpret specifications and communicate clearly in written English to customers.
  • Familiarity with Synopsys tools and customer-facing applications or design-services experience are listed as qualifications.
  • Mixed-signal integration, advanced-node FinFET delivery, and a related master’s degree are preferred.
