The employer seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor with knowledge of UAE construction practices and experience with villa and high-rise building projects.
The role covers project cost estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost control, and contract administration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify quantities and cost requirements.
- Prepare interim payment applications, progress valuations, and variation claims.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, material consumption, and subcontractor payments.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare cost comparisons.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and planning teams.
- Prepare and submit variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, contract requirements, and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate measurement, cost, invoice, and contractual records.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience; UAE villa and high-rise building project experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software.
- Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.
Pay
- Pay is up to AED 15,000 per month.
