Full-time Quantity Surveyor role with Bright Deal International General Contracting LLC in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant quantity surveying experience, including ADNOC project experience; ADNOC approval is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and project cost control.
- Experience with interim payment applications, progress valuations, variation claims, subcontractor payment certificates, material reconciliation, measurement sheets, and final accounts.
- Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents; proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying software.
- Good understanding of ADNOC project requirements and contractual procedures.
- Pipeline construction experience, preferably HDPE, DI, and carbon steel pipelines, is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs from drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project quantities, costs, and budget variations.
- Prepare interim payment applications and supporting documentation.
- Evaluate variations, additional works, and claims.
- Verify subcontractor measurements and payment applications.
- Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams to verify progress and quantities.
- Maintain records of project measurements, material consumption, and cost reports.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi; candidates must be able to commute or plan to relocate before starting.
