Oversee the company's financial operations, accounting activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
The role requires financial management, leadership, and knowledge of UAE accounting and taxation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage finance and accounting operations, financial statements, budgeting, and reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, project costing, profitability, and cost control.
- Handle letters of credit, bank guarantees, bid bonds, performance guarantees, and advance payment guarantees.
- Coordinate with banks on credit facilities, loans, guarantee renewals, and financing arrangements.
- Oversee payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable financial regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Supervise the accounts team and maintain effective financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; the education section also lists a Master's as required.
- Five to eight years of relevant experience; four years as a Finance Manager is preferred.
- UAE construction or contracting experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience in project costing, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.
- ACCA, CMA, or CPA qualifications are an advantage.
Compensation
- The description lists pay of AED 8,000–15,000 per month; the structured salary field lists AED 8,000 per month.

- Work is in person in Abu Dhabi.
