Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment, production lines, raw materials, outgoing products, and operational areas.
- Check product specifications, process settings, critical control points, allergens, and pre-shipment requirements.
- Document and audit process controls, verify production records, and monitor GMP compliance.
- Troubleshoot production lines, assess held products, and report quality issues to Quality Assurance.
- Collect samples and perform sensory, organoleptic, and microbial product testing.
Requirements
- University, bachelor's degree, or diploma in Food Science, Chemical studies, or equivalent.
- At least one year of related experience; meat-industry experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of CFIA SFCR and GFSI (BRC) requirements.
- Attention to detail, time management, independent and team working ability, communication, and analytical skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency; ability to lift up to 25 kg when required.
- Availability for night shifts and overtime.
Schedule
- Night shift; flexibility to work overtime is required.
Workplace
- Quality-control duties include physical inspections, sample collection, and testing in production and laboratory settings.
