Quality Control Piping Line Inspector

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced QC Piping Inspectors for an immediate contract role in Ras Laffan Industrial City. Candidates must already be based in Qatar, hold a valid Qatari RP/visa, and possess an active RLIC pass . This role requires strong knowledge of piping inspection, test packages, and oil & gas standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control inspections of piping systems in line with project specifications and applicable codes (API, ASME).
• Review and verify Test Packages including hydro test, pneumatic, flushing, and reinstatement packages.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and other engineering documents.
• Witness inspections, sign off on Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.
• Coordinate with construction teams, QA/QC personnel, and client representatives on site.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and QC documentation throughout the project.

Candidate Requirements (Essential)

• Experience: Minimum 5–6 years of QC inspection experience in oil & gas – RLIC / Ras Laffan project experience is strongly preferred.
• Certification & Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with API, ASME, or equivalent piping standards.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in P&ID reading, Test Package management, and QC documentation.
• RLIC Pass: Mandatory – Active, valid RLIC pass (pass number and expiry date required on CV).
• Visa Status: Must already be in Qatar with a valid, transferable visa/residence permit.
• Medical Fitness: Valid medical fitness certificate required.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills for coordination with multinational teams and client representatives.
